I think you have had mixed advice on here. M series uprights are not an issue....period.

I realise that, I just thought it was funny, I was googleing something else and landed on that thread and was suddenly confronted with more TVR uprights than you can shake a stick at!

they are definitely not an issue for me John hehe

just finished welding the cage mounts into the chassis. I am on hols now till Monday so should get all the chassis welded up and the first trial fit of the Body.

mr Stahler.

here is some simple to follow free advice:

1. buy a 4HU (Jaguar diff) either in 3.31 or 3.54 ratio
2. pay steve reid or Adrian venn to correctly strip and re-furb your existing uprights
3. buy some quaiff Hubs or See if Adrian has any brand new (never reconditioned) old stock TR6 Hubs

4. build your car to a fairly standard spec and drive it first. When you can drive the car beyond the limit of its std chassis then modify it.
