Not really sure what a CTR is but it sounds and looks great. Always good when one can hop on a plane buy a car and return for a blast on an airstrip. Well done to you and enjoy the car.

Just been thinking......is the CTR the Porker that starred in a video called Fazination or something like that? As I remember a big article in Performance Car in the mid 90's showing the mad driver and a yellow 911 from the film doing power slides at 140. Think PC ran a competition where the 1st prize was a trip to Germany for a few laps round the ring with said car and driver.

The Fazination CTR is still owned by Herr RUF... he'll never sell it.

Adam's Dad told me the one he's bought is the best CTR RUF's built after RUF's personal CTR.

Pretty much identical to the Fazination one...

The original Ruf CTR from the Fascination video is based on a pre '89 911.

Mike's CTR is 964 based.

Have fun!!

Adam,

A truly wonderful looking car.

Look forward to seeing it in the flesh soon.

Cheers,

Greg

PS - your storytelling is akin to DeR's but without the confusing words! Great post on the other board!

Marvellous, marvellous, marvellous autophilia.

Bordering on the insane.

Not worthy, in the slightest...

Thank you veyr much guys

Melv, this car is still based on the 3.2 Carrera even though it was built when i think the 964 was in production from porsche.

Greg, I have a feeling this car is going to go for the R turbo's jugular at the next VMAX, its vicious...as long as it is dry mind...
