Hi

Can't search as I'm on a mobile but does anyone know of a way to get into the boot of a 5 series bmw that has been deadlocked?

Thanks

Which 5 series?

If there isn't a ski hatch between the seats, BMW diagnostics will usually be able to send a signal to open any locks.

Just done a bit of googling for you. Only real answer was by getting in to the cabin of the car and trying to remove rear shelf speaker. Sorry...Doesnt seem to be any other method. I recall a mate of mine had the same problem and the AA guy drilled a small hole under the numberplate but I may have dreamt that!

Any more details?
I'm gonna take a stab in the dark at you having locked your keys in the boot and are stuck. Possibly in a works car park, but pretty late for this.
You aren't near home or near a spare key.

That puts the normal options of using a different key to open.
Have you got any access to the car? can you get to the rear seats

There is/was a ski hatch option which is a small opening behind the centre arm rest. If you don't have that, you might have a metal panel that has been 99% cut out except for little tabs holding it in. If you can see this, you can kick it in and make a little hole into the boot, but it isn't very big.

Apart from that, it's a metal box without any other ways in.
