BMW 120d Sport

Its a sad day in that swmbo and I have finally come to the decision that we are going to have to sell the 120d.You may or may not remember my wife injured her back at work in June of this year and following a scan the doctors say the problem is degenerative so unlikely to get much better.We have struggled on since then because we both love the car.However she really struggles to lift and lower herself in and out of the car so it looks like we will have to replace with a 4x4 or MPV so she can just slide herself in.

Anyway im wondering about the value of the car I think its worth about £9k but I would be interested to know your thoughts.The car is a 2006 (56) 5dr 120d Sport in Jet Black with just over 64,000mls.One previous owner I believe its standard Sport spec and its being serviced tomorrow.Has all the handbooks, service history etc.Tyres all good.

I will of course be placing an ad in PH to see what interest I get.

might be worth having a word with your dealer - mine's telling me they have trouble getting hold of 2nd hand sports - be interesting to see how much they might give for an easy deal

I think its certainly worth a try I punted on a Seat Ibiza Cupra to a main dealer and got a very good bid for it.
