Cost to hang doors?
Discussion
I need to have 6 doors hung in a flat I hoping to rent out very shortly, just after an idea of what is a reasonable price to have this done?
Speaking to a friend he seamed to think a guy he knows would be looking at the best part of 2 days and £300 which seams expensive.
I've done 1 myself before but am quite busy at the moment so would rather just get someone else to do them.

When I bought my house my sister gave me a DIY book. At the time I thought it was fairly silly present but over time, as I've done various jobs around the house, I've found it a really good reference guide. As long as you a bit practical most things aren't as difficult as you'd imagine and you'll get a good sense of satisfaction from doing the work yourself. Hanging doors isn't too difficult, although it is easier with a second pair of hands.

Also a lot easier to hang a door if you're sticking a new lining in as well. Saves shaving the door as old frames are inevitably out of square or short
