Probably best to add the 'bike categories too - CBT, A1 and A.

will be interesting to know if anyone bothered with pass plus.

I'm 20 and when i passed at 18 i was told i should do it because i could save '35%' on my insurance. I didnt bother because asking a number of insurance companies they just said they dont offer discounts for it and didnt fancy spending £140 (cheaper now?) on something i couldnt use.

Standard UK with Pass Plus. IAM is definitely on my "To do" list.

I have Car, Bike, full HGV including artics, Tracked - anything else on the licence? Had Car and Bike before I joined the Army as a Mechanic and then got the rest.

Oh, you missed off, 'to kill'.

The 12 or so years ago when I passed my test, I also did my Pass Plus, as it was pretty standard for Insurance Companies to offer 1 years NCD on your first policy.

Saved me a few quid I believe.

Standard UK plus CBT. Lost my job whilst I was learning so didn't have the money to continue and had to sell my 'bike. I'll get back on two wheels as soon as I've got the money as I honestly don't think there's anything better (unless it's snowing) to get in and out of a town centre on.

I did the same, the discount i got on my first years policy paid for the Pass Plus.

UK Full, also got my PCV. That's B1, B, D1, D for light cars, cars, minibuses and buses.

Haven't posted in the poll since there's no "PCV" option!
