Talking to very attractive people coherently: How to?
Discussion
Following a recent embarrassment which I won't bore you with: What 'methods' (if any) do you employ for chatting coherently with very attractive members of the opposite sex. I find myself squirming and behaving like a deranged schoolboy when under the gaze of a pretty woman; and I hate myself for it. It's illogical, and awkward for all parties concerned, and I want it to stop

Is it a lack of confidence?
Must be.My narcissism helps - I know I'm better than them, they should feel privileged that I'm talking to them.
ETA: Although she might be better at spelling than me... sometimes. It would just be because I wasn't trying though. When I try, I'm the best at spelling.

I used to get the same thing, other than manning up (which is the best thing to do), I just take the situation for what it is.
I work in the accelerated version of a large supermarket chain. Because of this I have cause to talk to some rather lovely ladies regularly. Its easy, aside from just being a bit more confident (which is a lot easier than it sounds) just look them in the eye and remember that they are just people aswell. You would be extremely surprised how different girls speak to you when you dont appear to be in the slightest bit bothered about them.
Keep your eyebrows low, address them informally and dont break eye contact. Its easy

I think this is a question for.....
Flashman
That depends on whether it's a girl you want to spend more time with than just a quickie and to be kicked out of her flat by her flatmate or someone you might actually want to see more than once...Flashman
