Have to say I am again drawn by the lure of mid range turbo thump.
I fancy something with around 500 odd BHP.

Am I being daft?

Yes you are being daft.

600bhp isn't that much bigger a step to take hehe

500, 600. Around there.
My old one ran about 600 and that was adequate and a great deal of fun.
Just have to take a look at insurance and go through the rigmarole of selling the M3.
(the hassle of the last point alone might be enough to dissaude me).

You see, I had an opportunity to buy a 680BHP R33 GTR for a VERY good money, recently serviced, in good condition etc few months ago.

I could have afford it, the insurance wasn't a problem etc.

But I decided not to... I knew I wouldn't use it almost at all. It was loud, rock hard, pain in the ass in the traffic due to a triple plate clutch etc.
I'm more happy with my Z3M with half the power...

Sorry, gone I'm afraid.

It was modified by Garage Saurus in Japan, then in here by Abbey Motorsport. Just the best parts - HKS, Greddy etc.
Running perfectly with a dyno print out form Abbey. The guy wanted £8000... smile

It is indeed.

But I thought someone would have been childish enough to launch a tirade of abuse at me.

I'd prefer the R33 to a forced induction M3.

That's perfect, however it needs turbos, injectors and a few other mods to pull it up to where it needs to be.

Serious question - do they all come with those sort of exhausts? And what is that in the boot?
