Hi guys, I am looking to sell my sti 05 ppp and need advice on what to buy next. I really like the hawkeye sti but not sure about the 2.5 engine, have seen many mixed reviews about it. An evo would also be an option but again not sure about how comfortable they are compared to an impreza. Any suggestions or comments about the cars mentioned?

Well the other option was a BMW M3 but not driven one. Usage wise mainly weekends and some weekdays here and there. Budget wise im thinking 15-16 and no kids so a coupe wouldnt be out of the question, hence the M3.

M3 sounds like a good choice and a change from AWD cars. You see plenty on trackdays and they go pretty well as std. Don't expect very compliant suspension though as they are fairly firm but perhaps not quite as firm as an EVO.

What about a Porsche Boxster? I hear they handle really well although i've never been in one.

Pity RB320 scoobs weren't a bit cheaper scratchchin

Always had a soft spot for the M3 but I'm not sure if it will provide the fun factor that a subaru does. I love the RB320 but they are expensive, my Subaru has 43,000 miles on it, and I keep telling myself 'get rid of it the mileage is creeping up' but not sure if I should just keep it.

As a PPP it's making somewhere around 300bhp. A high flow flat panel air filter and a fully decat exhaust + remap and it will make 350bhp all day long. An extra 50bhp and 50-60ftlb makes a huge difference and will transform your car. It will feel new again and then some.

BTW....43K miles is nothing. IMHO...keep it and spend some dosh on it.

Thanks for the reply and advice, just a quick question who would be the best person to get all the mods done from and how much would it cost, I live in the midlands, cheers.
