I recentley, well last sunday, got myself a sexy XJS after many years of lusting!

The Jag isn't the daily, for that i've got my Eunos. Now the plan is to sell the Eunos while there is still some sun because it's lost it's kennel to the cat and i know from experience that keeping soft tops outside in the winter isn't good for them frown

So this weekend i'm going to blitz the Mazda and get her up for sale! However i still need a hack and it has to be sensible in order to justify the new toy. As i'll have the Jag for weekends, long journeys and generally being civilised the hack can be as ruthlessly practical and cheap as possible!

I've done some thinking and so far a oil burning Pug 106 is swaying me (can't believe i wrote that..) but as ever i bow to the PH knowledge!!

The only criteria is as economical and reliable as possible and the budget is super stingy!! ideally around the £500 mark.

Do your worst !

For the love of god don't get it, a monkey will get you more than you might have thought. Anyway if you need a household shed better to get something reliable and useable if the main car is off the road to avoid the expense of a courtesy car.
