I'm off to Northern ireland to see mother and father... will have the wife and child with me so photo time will be limited however determined to get one shot i'm proud of.

Leaving Skye and heading for the Uists at 6pm! Hoping for the luck we've had this week, only rained at the end of our walk today otherwise we've stayed dry all week on the Trotternish peninsula. Only rained when we have been inside. The light's been mostly flat but still shot a few hundred pics over the last few days. Up the Quiraing yesterday and got blue skies and fantastic clouds as a backdrop.

Will post a few on our return.

Local flower show tomorrow (will be entering photos) and then GRRC Annual open day at Goodwood House on Sunday so hopefully some very special cars and a good picnic with family and friends.

Might have to be more lounging by the pool again today! We had rain yesterday and lots if it. The locals said it's completely unheard of at this time of year. It was like being back in the uk but warmer!!!

After last weekends amazing trip to Crater Lake over here in Oregon, tomorrow morning I'm off to the 3 Sisters Wilderness (3 big mountains in the Cascades mountain range)...weather is looking changable, so keeping the fingers crossed (as around 500 miles round trip)!
