This has been gathering dust in the draw for a long time, tbh i'd forgotten about it.

Does anyone have any knowledge of this particular model?

It has VE Day! stamped on the face and 1945 on the back is what looks like some sort of navy crest and No. 1606

Try Googling it.. 60th anniversary of VE day watch which puts it around 2005?

I was thinking it was some sort of canteen for the odd sip while travelling?

If you really want a "Graham of London" on your wrist I would suggest buying one from "topswiss" or the like wink afterall, it will probably be the same overall value in parts and will have the exact effect it was bought for wink

(Sorry, but played with a real one and was not impressed, I certainly would not have paid anywhere near 4 figures for it, gastly thing IMHO )

It's a Chronofighter Oversize; Graham seem to squirt out "limited editions" of this shape on a regular basis. Not pretty, but worth a few quid (i.e. a couple of grand) to the right buyer.

In line with the general sentiment of this thread, that buyer isn't me. Horrendously overpriced for what it is, and I really don't like the crown protector gizmo.

On the subject of protected crowns, a friend of mine had an interesting vintage watch with the crown on the left and with a small protector over it. He inherited it but his understanding was that it was a WWII German army parachute watch which would have been worn on the the right wrist, hence the unconventional position of the crown. Other than that he knew nothing about it.
