Green Lanes

I have a 4 year old td5 90 and want to start using it for its designed purpose - to go off road.

Does anyone have any recommendations for choosing or using green lanes? I am based in Kent but going to be visiting friends in berks (near newbury) this weekend and want to go exploring.

Local councils should have 'difinitive maps' of what's open or closed, and the lanes will be marked on Landranger OS maps. It may be worth contacting GLASS or trying to find a local LR club in the area. We have people oin our local club who dedicate quite a lot of time to finding out about lanes. If you can't find anything on the website, and you find the lanes on a map and drive to them, there should be a notice on them if they're closed.
