What happened to all the Sports cars / Coupes
Discussion
I’ve been do the usual friday afternoon day dream in the classifieds.
I’ve always liked Coupe’s, but where did they all go, no one seems to make them anymore( or Sport’s cars in general for that matter)
I Don’t consider a 2 door 3 series and the like to be a coupe.
Seems to be so many niche models of cars around but no real everyday sports cars. The only real coupes / Sports I can think of the MX5, Alfa GT and BMW Z4
Am I missing something or is there just no demand for them anymore.

I think it's just you - there are loads of cars that fit into your rather broad definition!
Just off the top of my head, there's the 370Z, RX8, Vantage, Brera, Exige, 911, Cayman, Boxster, Scirroco, etc, etc. If you're willing to consider models no longer in production then the list gets even longer - Celica, MR2, etc.
Perhaps not all strict coupes but your list included the MX5, so I take it you mean small-ish, sporty cars.
