I was under that impression too. From what I heard it took quite a bit of persuading for him to part with it in the first place. I know LG spoke to Clive this morning, so we'll have to wait and see.
Unfortunately it's Jasons car now and he can do what he wants with it

Indeed, that was also my understanding. d off about that I understood he sold it to Jason under the strict understanding that he was keeping it for himself?Although Jason is completely entitled to do as he pleases with the car, if that was the agreement I would feel let down if I were in Clive's shoes... especially so soon after he parted with it.
I do not know the details of the situation but if the understanding is correct then you've gotta feel for Clive, especially as he is a really nice guy.

I`d better clear something up here, d off about that I understood he sold it to Jason under the strict understanding that he was keeping it for himself?as much as I would have liked Jason to keep the car, why should I be able to dictate what the new owner of the vehicle wants to do with it?
I did say to Jason when we agreed on a deal that I would be dissapointed if he put it up for sale the following day,but at the end of the day its up to him what he wants to do with it, after all he could keep it and turn it into a chim, and really ruin it
Also Jason had the courtesy to talk to me before deciding to put it up for sale, so as far as I am concerned fair play, its a piece of plastic and metal that looks very nice and goes like stink, I `ve put my soul into that car , which is one of the main reasons why I decided to part with it, as it ended up ruling my life for the best part of 18months something that starts off as a good project can easily turn into an obsession, and you miss out on the main pleasure of owning the car........which is driving the damned thing!
I will be very happy to think that its new owner will give it the love and attention that it is used too, and in return it will give you a lot of grins and possibly soiled underpants!
yes its up for sale at a very good price, but also a realistic price as well, and I hope the right person comes along for it.
As for me, I am very very happy with the T350, I`ve got a car that I could not have afforded to purchase outright, and basically have cashed in on all of my hard work on the griff, so no moans from this corner.
So who`s intersted in it then, it would be nice to see it at next years growl, and you never know, it might even be judged as the Most Modified Griff 2011
Who's Clive? Didn't he used to be on the Griff forum...? Anyway I followed the construction of this AJP Griff for months, the accounts had me enthralled, the workmanship remarkable and if I could have done the same to Grizzly, I guess it would be my ultimate Griff. Someone is going to get an absolute stunning car for £20k. Best of luck to the chap who created it, it was his dream and he achieved it, well done to him. I'll always remember this AJP Griffith and whatsis'name?
