Mondeo MKIII steering issues

Hi I have a 2.0 Ghia 51 plate mondeo I have got a issue and any help would be great. When turing there is a loud knocking noise, also on a couple of occasions the steering wheel has spun in the opposite direction when turing and sometimes it is hard to get in reverse and stalls in the process.

I suggest you don't drive the car. There's something broken in the suspension or steering.

The difficult to change gears may be a dud engine or gearbox mount (that's what had happened to mine).

I'd seriously consider getting it towed to a mechanic, otherwise you're risking a big accident.
