Who's filming near us?

A local building is being used for filming near us - over two weeks, so it's something reasonably substantial. They're even closing the road alongside periodically. Has anyone got an idea how to find out what it is, apart from walking onto the property and asking?

If anyone is in the know... it's near the river at Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire.

Any ideas?

That's your best bet. Most crew members are happy chat about what's happening.

Be prepared for disappointment though. Caught a major shoot near Excel a few months back - stopped for a look expecting to see some star or other. Turned out to be an advert for a foreign travel company.

I had the same, when they filmed the phone ad where they drive the geese through Leddenhall.

Not as exciting as I had hoped.

Just ask. I was an extra on some Will Mellor comedy on Monday, and people were just walking up and asking, crew more than happy to tell you..if the camera isn't rolling
