I suspect it was more like vandal damage, there are some dents on one of the cars right on the back wing line, it would be a very strong part of the wing and hail wouldn't cause that much damage.

Plus a side windows through on the last car.

With a bit of wind i can see that hail damaging the side windows of a car as well, so i think it actually was the hail damaging all those windows.

When I was at my parents house in alacante, Spain. There was a major hailstorm last year and hundreds of cars left with damage that would write a car off!
Hailstones the size of golf balls, quite a few folk injured too!

Yep, hail damage is common over here in Austria too. The major manufactures have specific 'hail damage' insurance as part of their logistical contracts. Keeps Hr Dent man in Beer and Schnitzel!!
