Distribution Cap Firing Order Starting Position - Urgent

I have a trip planned tomorrow and stupidly decided to check the rotor arm and took off the plugs leads knowing i had a sequence order in Steve Heath.

Unfortunately i didn't note where the first was located and now it won't fire and now i'm unsure where to start the sequence having tried mutiple variations.

The SH diagram shows the vaccum advance in a different place to mine with 7 & 5 directly in front of the engine which doesn't work.

Can anyone confirm how i determine which plugs start where on teh TVR RV8. I have the sequence no problem, but no starting point! Doh

I'm sure that someone can give better advice than me, but in the meantime..... set the engine so that number 1 cylinder is at top dead centre (you'll have to remove the spark plug and use a wooden stick or similar to find the position of the piston) and then the rotor arm should be pointing at lead number one, from there you should be able to connect the rest in the right sequence.

8 is fractionally to the right of the clip that faces the front of the car then no1 is to the right of that (I think, I'm typing from bed!)

I'll take a pic of my numbered leads if that doesn't help.
