I am in a bit of a dilema at the moment with my wheels.

I need to replace all four tyres due to age more than wear. Also want to get the rims refurbished before doing this.

Looking at tyre options a 235 should fit nicely on the 8" rim. Has anyone run 235's and is there much advantage apart from a slightly fatter looking wheel. If so do they clear the rear tie bar ok?

Other option is to find a set of 16 x 9 OZ Splits which would be preferable if by some miracle anyone happens to have set needing a good home. I have made a few enquiries about pairs for sale but I really want all 4.

Cheers

I might be too late for Jason's pair, someone beat me to it.

The ACRoney ones I enquired about but need a little bit of work in my opinion.

Yours do look good Wyn, in fact it was those pictures that put me in a dilema!! smile

As I said, I need to replace all 4 tyres so it's the ideal oportunity to go a bit bigger if possible.

Although a 235 50 15 wouldn't change the rolling raduis by much, a quick search on Toyo and Blckcircles shows that no such size is available. Have you already found something in that size?

Yeah, I was looking at getting a set of R888's and noticed they do a 235 50 15 in these.
