Adjusting my shocks

There have been a few threads on here about adjusting dampers on the S but I had always thought mine were fine and someone who knows a lot more than me about suspension set up will have set them up right and me fiddling wouldn't end well.

2 days ago though I was driving into work along a nice country road doing 60 (ish!) on a straight when I went over 3 gentle humps. obviously I managed to hit the perfect combination of hump length, speed, and damper settings as the suspension was completely out of phase with the humps. Every trough i thought I was going to take off, and every peak the exhaust smacked into the road I've also had experiences of the front feeling like it has air suspension and wallowing then floating above the road which is disconcerting through a corner!

So this morning I bit the bullet and stiffened up the fronts by 2 clicks. What a difference! The car just feels so much more planted and confident. I took the long route to work (and back) just to chuck it around a bit. I really just want to go for a drive now even though it is dark and soggy!

When I fitted the AVO's to mine had know idea where to set them so went for a wizz with then on softest setting . . . . . that was hairy !!
