Hi all,

My TV350 has managed to shed the covers on the left hand side which go over the bolts on the glass boot. I think they are just popper type gadgets that go over to stop corrosion. I've noticed some rust appearing so really want to get them covered, does anyone know where I can pick some up?

Thanks.

Ditto. Same problem as you guys. Driving me mad.

Racing Green list them on their website, but it just says 'not available' next to them banghead

A while ago someone mentioned that you can replace these covers with something that looks the same from B&Q - some kind of screw cap cover. Have a rummage through their drawers next time you're in there...

Guys

In a couple of weeks time I hope to be offering a stainless steel alternative for these.

I don't want to say to much at the minute as I don't want this deleted by a mod thinking its an ad.

I do sell various stainless bolts etc as a bit like you all I struggle to find things for mine so I am sourcing, designing and having manufactured alternatives to try and help us all out (and not pay 'Dealer' prices).

Will keep you posted but if any of you are interested let me know.

Cheers. Lee.

Lee, can you get any made in just black? Don't really like silver on my car.

Again gents something that is in progress. I was thinking matt black rather than gloss?

Your thoughts?

Cheers. Lee.

Hi Chris. I am well thanks, hope you are too.

Just an update. Have been busy at work and with two kids its hard to make the time but design for these...done. I hope to have some manufactured over the next couple of weeks.

Have been hampered a little as some people want matt black and some want shiny stainless.

Will keep you posted!!

Cheers. Lee.

P.s. Stainless wheel nuts are currently in testing phase so should be available soon... I am also having some titanium ones made! cool

Hi Lee, looking for a set of rear screen covers in silver, just for a different look, which my 350 seems to do so well.

Hi Gents,

Sorry to keep you waiting for so long but I am a busy man! Good news is that I have finally got round to perfecting a cost effective solution for this problem!

I have now got a finished product which I feel is a great solution for a number of reasons with the main one being it removes the need to use that god awful black gunk! This also means the you are not going to have lumps of plastic / stainless / ally etc. potentially flying off the back of your car if the glue fails.

I have posted a couple of before and after pics below. One of a top hinge replacement before and after and one showing the size difference compared to the original (replacement are smaller). I am not 100% sure what I am allowed to post regarding what I am offering but each kit will contain everything you need to replace the 8 covers on a T350 or 6 on a Sag / T350 with the handle fitted.

Let me know if your interested or have any questions. Cheers. Lee.
