Real world MPG Cooper S

I know its quiet round ere, but looking for real world MPG figures on a New MINI Clubman Cooper S? IF they make there combined then its a possibility otherwise I'll take the performance hit and look at the Cooper D.

Our MCS is the 175bhp turbo, not the very latest 184bhp model but it averages 32 if giving it regular beans. Cruising on the motorway it will easily do high 30's....

Cheers, MINI's optimistic figures for the MCS Clubby are 47.9 combined. would realistic figures around 40??? going by what you've said probably not,

I have a JCW Mini 09 ... motorway, cruise at 70-75 .. and I get about 44 mpg .. sure the normal S will do as well if not better ...

I have a 10 plate (184) Cooper S and use it for my daily commute - 25 miles each way with a mix of country lanes, city and motorway driving. I get 38 mpg without trying (sport mode most of the time). Makes a nice change from the 26 mpg I used to get from my Clio 197!

Our Cooper S Conv averages 23mpg but it only does very short journeys.
