Finding out if outstanding finance on , , ,

Hello all,
I am looking at buying a caravan for about 6k.
Now I know we can all do a HPI check to look for outstanding finance, after all, none of us would want our recently purchased car to be snatched back by a finance company.
But how to check with a caravan?
I would be worried about buying a 6k van, then possibly find the seller still had 5k of finance out on it.
Advice please.

You can check a caravan through the CRIS regestration system thats if its regesterd of course
