Is this repairable?

just gone out and noticed a screw in the front tyre, it has gone through the tyre as air escapes if unscrew it.

Can this be repaired or is it to close to the side wall.




found a replacement at Camskill
has any one dealt with them. The price seems very competetive.

Might be worth your while just replacing the tyre.

I'm far from an authority on tire repair, however my instinct is that that's probably a little close to the sidewall for comfort.

+1. I have had this a couple of times and ended up with the tire being replaced.

New tyre time, as it's too close to the shoulder for a repair. It's a shame, as there looks to be around 2mm still left of the tread.

Nope. Dead. I've had punctures further from the edge refused repair.

Tyre is dozy and close to the wear markers. I'd have had it replaced long ago to be honest.

You'll be wanting two tyres, if the one on the other side is as rubbish as that one, too.

Ive had tyres repaired by being vulcanised on the tyrewall, however it can be expensive and as you dont have much tread left I would just get a new tyre.

100% new tyre time.Almost all tyre places will refuse to repair that.

Too close to the sidewall and the tyre looks knackered anyway.
