I used to own two Tasmins years ago and have been surfing globally to try to find out what happened to them?
The first was a white Tasmin 280i FHC. In my youth I fitted some dodgy white Halfords mirrors to it - at the time it was registered as 7676 EL but that no longers matches on the DVLA site so presume the plate was sold on......
Owned from around 1987'ish....
The second was a 280i DHC in black with the later 'spoked' Alloys. It had a silver pin stripe down the waist and was registered as 41 VBB? That still exists as being registered on the DVLA though is now confusingly listed as being Blue?
I got involved with the TVR club when I had that visiting the Blackpool factory and club meets in the Coventry area with a regular meet at the Bulls Head in Meriden if anyone recalls? From that time I know that some initial research revealed that car had a very early - possibly pre-production chassis number? Owned from around 1990'ish and was sold to a TR6 owner in Leamington Spa?

Anyone know where they are now?

Unbelievable Mark! The web is amazing! Glad to see you are still around and have the car!!!!
I only wandered onto here in a bored moment at work at the weekend after coming across the Tasmin photos last week for the first time in years!
Boy did I love that back then.... I sooooo wanted a V8 after seeing yours.
Think it might even be a little more than that long can you beleive. Hope alls well m8.........

I'll try to work out a scanner and get the photos added as time permits. I recall theres a load going right through assembly of S and 400SE/SEAC production. Did you ever see VBB again?

Yeah I would love to see those. My 400 is one of the first 5 88 cars, never know it might be in the picture!

I'll definately dig them out guys.... IIRC theres a Met.Green 400 in assembly and I'm sure there was a red 400 that was being upgraded at the owners request to SEAC spec? Would that ring any bells?

You should also be able to open them in 'Paint' and do a 'Save As' & where it says 'save as type' click the drop down list & it should have JPG as an option.

Tried that Wyn and it wouldn't let me do it
jpeg was not an option for some reason
