VMAX DVD

Hi Guys & Gals...OK..Here at mach vmax15000bhp we are putting together an 'official' dvd of the days'
antics.

mr_tony has very kindly recorded a lot of the days footage including some great stuff of the
cars passing the timing traps, but I know there are plenty of you who recorded other great footage during the day, which would be great to add the dvd.

This is the first time this has being done so it's a trial run to see what we can put together(so nobody is going to get paid for footage or anything!) but you
will be properly credited for your work.

Footage could be provided as raw video to be edited, or as finished clips to be added direct to the dvd.

So if you have something on video from the weekend that you think should be part of the collective VMAX consciousness, then get please get in touch with mr_tony (rich) via his profile asap.

These dvd's will be sold at cost price to vmax members & will not be distributed elsewhere. cheers. Craig.

Already had a couple of responses from people with footage, so heres some more general info for anyone else who wants to contribute :

Format - ideally mail me a CD / DVD with the footage on. Contact me via my profile to arrange this.

The footage I already have is widescreen, so if you can send it ready edited then widescreen is best, if it's 4:3 then so be it, I'll sort it out. Quite happy with avi / divx / mpg as long as it's decent quality.

So far I've a lot of car footage, but not much people footage - so if you have some good soundbites from the VMAX personalities I'd love to see them.

Also video from passenger rides - I only did the one lap with the camera as it's so big. If you have in car video of you racing someone else then I'd love to see that too.

I'll be checking out the video already posted by your good selves and will approach anyone who has something I think we can use - you will be properly credited if you allow us to use your footage of course!

Also if anyone has any particular music suggestions I'd be glad to hear them!

Again to re-iterate this is a limited run available to drivers / specators there on the day, they will not be up for public sale.

I will be doing a trailer for PH tv that should be up this week to give you all a taster...

I 'had' some footage of 360 vs M5 from inside Bebessen's car but my camera has decided to eat tape for a living now!

If i get it fixed i'll send you over a condensed version to see if its worthy.

Put me down for a DVD though!

I've got quite a bit of footage, some good too. Once I work out how to use software to convert, burn and edit it, I'll send it over to you. When's the latest you'll need it for?

Count me in for the DVD also, ain't gonna miss that!


Just spoke to my friend in the 355 and they've got loads of good and crazy footage that's currently being burnt on DVD. Once I have it, I'll try and edit it and send it over.

I have a little bit of video on one of those little tape's (not my camera, not sure what it is). Don't know if it's any good to anyone. There's quite a funny bit where my brother swears as we go sideways on the bottom corner and then apologises to mum. If you need a copy e-mail me.

Yes please for a DVD & also would you like a couple of audio clips that I did for something we are working on for Pistonfest '04.

Most suitable might be the in car bit with Mr Tony & the brief chat interview with 456 & his 360CS.

Maybe as audio when the credits are on screen or somat?

Anyway, dunno if you will think its suitable & good/bad/funny/shite, maybe I'll send ya a copy of it & you can decide.

For eveyone else who wants a DVD, remain patient (editing takes time!!). Craig will make an official announcement nearer the time when we know the potential cost, at whichpoint you can place your orders.

I'm still working on the trailer, so it'll be early next week before thats out. Footage is looking pretty good though and the final product will be really rather good!

(And I'm still waiting for all your music suggestions!!.....)
