Docu about Alicia Douvall and her 14 yr old daughter.
Started at 2315hrs on BBC3.
This is truely shocking in the way her daughter is treated, misses school. Yet she she is so loyal to her mum
I am am fking speechless
Mum really is emotionally fked up
It has to be watched to be believed, but still dosen't seem believable
I've not come across been made aware of Alicia, but she does not come across and attractive

Looks like a halloween cake and makes Jordan seem rational and down-to-earth. I fear for the child.

Thankfully the child has her head screwed on and does not want to follow the same path as her mother.
I liked the fact she is keen to get a good education and not be dragged to some photo shoot whilst her mother sulked.

Well worth a watch if you get the chance.

Something smells fishier than a basket of week old dead cod with this one imho. I don't know much about the economics of glamour modelling, and she was disparaging about friends who were stripping or "escorting", but she seems to be very nicely set up with a pad in an expensive development off the New Kings Road, 6 series Beemer, daughter in private education, regular trips to LA where she stays in a lovely pad, is driven round everywhere, has a therapist and can afford private cosmetic surgery etc etc, yet seems to be no more than a particularly unattractive Z list celeb who looks like a cross between Jordan and the Bride of Wildenstein

Yes, I thought the same.

Was good that she wanted to do her school work, and not turn out the way her mum has.

And what is that abomnation of a female, shes ruined herself. The surgeons should just say no ps off. She'll kill herself soon due to complications during surgery and the poor young girl won't have a mother.

Three theories:

1. The child's father is minted, hence the mother is minted due to our wonderful legal/childcare system.

2. The mother actually invested some of the money she made from modelling, etc. Whilst she's a Z-Lister, the money is still not bad.

3. The mother has family money and is a poorer Paris Hilton.

I vote number 1.

Having watched this all I can say is that little girl has a head on her shoulders. Somehow she has managed so far to survive her mother. I think a lot of that is because she is at boarding school so avoids the brain damage her mother could impose upon her on a daily basis.

I really enjoyed this program, what was more enjoyable was seeing todays 'yoof' (i.e. the 14 year old) show a very mature outlook on life and behaving very different to how i thought she would.

As much as I disliked the mum, she obviously was doing something right for her daughter to be the way she is.
