Rolex Yacht master II

All I know is that it's nick-named the 'Clown-master' for it's hideous US based design. I don't think it sells very well at all, even the US market tends to shun it. The old YM was nice though!
Dunno how the 10 hour countdown timer is set or works, but it's supposed to be a very neat movement.

+1 to that. It looks like someone had a huey and rolf inside the crystal. Is it a ten hour countdown though? That would be fDunno how the 10 hour countdown timer is set or works, but it's supposed to be a very neat movement.
k all use in a regatta. More likely to be 10 minutes. The old YachtMaster wasn't only nice, it is nice. They still make it. It is the most comfortable Rolex I've ever had, given the nice rounded edges to the case. The only problem with the one I had, (steel/rolesium) was that it was a bugger to tell the time in certain light conditions, as there was no contrast between the dial and the hands. I sold it because of that and bought a Submariner.
