Inspired by the 'today's unlikely car crush' and 'people that you shouldn't fancy, but do' threads, here's mine:

The new E-Class. I'm not a major Mercedes lover, I don't normally like saloon cars, and it is fat, droopy and looks like a cross between a basset hound and a sad armadillo.

But gosh I can't stop looking at it and I want one. Badly.

So, what's your unlikely car-of-the-moment?

Don't worry, it isn't as bad as mine.

I know I shouldn't, but I actually love the look of the Nissan Cube. Not in a fast car kind of way obviously, but for a town car I think they look pretty cool.

I have a soft spot for those as well. Pointed one out to my girlfriend and she said it looks like a lego car. Each to their own!

Massive car crush.

First car I ever drove. In this colour scheme too, Orange over textured Brown. Gold wheels.

Awesome.

Don't know why. It's a bit of a sleeper I guess and I could get the bike in the back no bother. Tempting.

A Chevvy SSR is mine, after seeing a couple in the USA recently...

It's a pickup with a big old V8, with a folding hardtop. What's not to like???

Personal opinion, but I like myself. What's your choice then?

Just returned from the U.S and thoroughly liked driving around* in my massive 9 seater, 5.3 V8 Chevy Suburban - so that's my choice for the moment.

  • because the suspension's soft and the roads in Illinois are shockingly poor

I remember these, i could never understand at the time why my dad didnt want to buy one, looking back the old guy had his head screwed on properly. I still wouldnt mind one though, either that or a split window vw camper van
