Are these Cortina or Granada
I got some Cortina ones and fit but are slightly shorter, so if fitted I'd need to get the tracking re-done.

Ok that's what I ordered, they do fit but are shorter, I found some Granada one's that look the same, so ordered them and see what ones match best.

Deffo Mk4 Cortina and cheap to buy too. Make sure you keep the locking nut as that's an MOT failure if its missing.

Reading between the lines Leigh is not only keeping the locking nuts but has marked their position on the track rod and wants exactly the same ends so when he puts them on the length is spot on - no need to do the tracking then.

Adam is right, also no need for a MOT as there for the racer.

No - but if I were doing 120+ round Snett I would still prefer the security of the locknut to having a track rod undoing completely ;^)
