I've finally ordered a Tower View/Roll Centre roll bar for my Chimaera - thanks to all those who gave advise over the last few months.

However, I'm now deliberating whether to colour code the roll bar to the bodywork. Has anyone got any photos of how this looks - the only ones I've seen are either aluminised, standard black or leather coated.

BTW - my Chimaera is Starmist Mica Blue, so maybe black will not look too much out of place?

Cheers,
Michael

Slightly off topic....
Did T.V.R. give you a delivery time for your rollbar Michael? I ordered mine mid Feb and I've just got off the phone to them. They have no idea when Rollcentre will be delivering it. It will be 'at least 2 more weeks'. Hope you're not in a hurry !

Back on topic, don't know of anyone with a Rollbar other than the options you mentioned. BTW, anything other than black can seriuosly increase the price !

GarryM has a leather covered one, take a look [urlHERE|www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=42477&f=9&h=0&hw=roll+bar[url].
I also remeber I Guy who had his Chimeara rollbar colour coded to his car, sprayed it himself and it looked great, sorry i forgot his name but i know he frequents PH, lives MK way.

As for mine i have the Black one , but then my leather is Black too. And i think it blends in better.

There's a Mid-Essex Chim with a colour coded rollbar. A deep purple. Looks better than any other colour would IMO.

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated.

tonto - yes, I originally enquired in early February when I bought the car and was told then it would be 6-8 weeks lead time. I'm expecting to get it fitted in late April/early May - as long as its before Le Mans I dont mind!

As for the colour coding - Tower View quoted around £80-£100 (+ VAT) for Mica Starmist Blue. Seems a bit steep?

Agree that in purple the bar looks fantastic, but maybe my car is so dark anyway, that the standard black bar wont look too out of place - and I save myself a few quid!

Cheers,
Michael
