Hello again! Does anyone know where the drain plugs are for the V8 (US Spec) as well as the best way to fill and burp the cooling system. Thanks!

I've done the coolant quite a few times. The radiator drain plug is almost impossible to access. I drilled a hole on the lower glass panel below the radiator (in line with with drain plug) of sufficient clearance for a 1/4-inch extension at an angle which makes access to the drain plug quick and simple.

Beyond this, I typically use a 7-liter vac pump and drain the coolant system from the following points and in this order:

1- Reservoir tank in engine compartment
2- Bleed screw hole on top engine alloy down pipe
3- Bleed screw hole in Radiator

After this, just drop the hoses from the pipework and remove the radiator drain plug and let the rest come out.

Put it all back together and refill and bleed per manual. Note: I have found that it's much easier to pump coolant into the top alloy down pipe from the engine compartment via the bleed screw hole when initially filling the system.

As you are also in sunny South Florida, I would recommend a coolant mix of 1/3 Prestone green and 2/3 distilled water. Also add a bottle of Redline water wetter if you like. It's simply too hot down here and the cooling system is a bit light for the V8 so less antifreeze helps a bit.
