Service quotes c43 amg

Hi all c43 is due a basic A service (oil and filter change) so heres what i was quoted from four main dealers

mercedes dartford
£298 or £186 if i supply own oil

mercedes orpington
£255 and £136

mercedes lakeside
£249 and £168

mercedes slough
£234 and £134

I have a £25 discount voucher to use at orpington so that gets the price down to £111 if i supply my own oil,i purchased 10 litres of mobil 1 0w/40 from costco for £58 and will give my business to orpington this week.

Mercedes darftford never cease to amaze me with there high quotes/poor service !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What never ceases to amaze me (as a business person) is how much profit they just chuck away by letting you supply your own oil - why don't they just sell it a bit more competitively, they surely must get it cheaper in bulk than you can?

I'd never heard of doing this until I got an MB. My dealer suggested it to me - seems it's pretty standard practice at MB dealers.

Will they still accept the discount voucher if you supply your own oil?

Yes "just hand it to the driver when we collect the car" i was told.
