Help! My house is falling down (8pm ch4)
Discussion
Might be an interesting watch. However, when I saw the trailer, my immediate reaction was "well then do what the rest of us do and fix it, you lazy twunt". Since C4 get a percentage of the license fee, I worry than (indirectly) the viewers are paying to fix some lazy sod's house up...

Just looked it up and can see it's on in the middle of the day and hosted by Nick Knowles. Would rather self-circumcise with a rusty razor.
Talk about putting the fear of Christ into them 'this woodwork has woodworm and the roof could collapse'. Talk about doom and gloom. OK, I can see that they are trying to get the message across that these sort of things should not be ignored and, that regular maintenance is essential to keep a property in fine fettle, but surely there is no need for such sensational reporting.
I only saw the begining and the end, and i only watched it for the beany babies!
But it seemed like it was insulting my intelegence(sp?).
Surely a survey would of picked up the problems, it is 300 years old so you would of thought it would of been a good idea.
But who the hell buys a house with a well in the cellar? and I was surprised they got permision for the roof windows (assuming it was listed).

I only skim watched this, as the woman ( not sarah ) was annoying me, but...
If your house has a load of structural problems, the outside needs repointing, and the winter is coming...
Why are you more concerned with spending £5k on doing up the roof space, and painting the lounge, (with what looked like new sofas..), than getting the underlying structural issues sorted..
muppets..

That seemed strange, and people who try to paint whole walls with a paint brush annoy me to hell. And god knows what that colour was. If your house has a load of structural problems, the outside needs repointing, and the winter is coming...

well that's what I imagined when SB's name was mentioned. Could be an interesting programme.
