Caliper Envy, do you have it????

I would normally post pics likes these on the supercar forum but I thought these warranted a larger audience. Do you suffer from Caliper Envy when you see a huge set of 6 or 8 piston grabbers behind the wheel of some Italian exotic? Do you wonder how you could get them to fit your Corsa?

Bet those are a nightmare to keep clean.

Just like mine standard or painted a very subtle shade of gold (OEM Peugeot-style).

Yeah, I keep looking at my little single pots with itchy fingers.
But then I've got shiny brake discs which cheer me up instead

Maybe I need to make some fancy calipers too...

No, I had Brembo's on my Fiat Coupe and they were rubbish, squeally, fading and just not very good even with new pads and fluid, conversley the no name GM Generic brakes on my Saab are nothing short of epic.

My calipers lock the fronts up with ease so no need for anything bigger. Some larger disks would be nice though

I most definately do, I would love a set of custom fitted Brembo four pots on my little Honda, but the cost is just not worth it for the looks alone.

Its all about the AP Racing calipers.

Nope, my 6 pot calipers say AP and fit very nicely on my near 300mm disks. they are however worht more than the rest of the car.
