Rac warranty?

My latest purchase came with a three month rac warranty, are these much cop?

I'm thinking of extending it for peace of mind.

I don't know how good they are. But I took one out on my Roadster a few weeks ago. Prices seemed sensible. The lady on the phone told me it was a new product (June or July) so I suspect not much feedback yet.

the stuff thats covered is pretty extensive, turbos etc £119 for the year and up to £2000 a claim.

I looked at several policies. Some where silly money. And I spend about 30-40 mins on the phone to the adviser. The coverage seemed quite comprehensive from what I can tell (or hope at least).
