Fancy restaurant in fleet/farnham/winchester/reading area

My parents are over for the weekend so I would like to treat them to a really nice dinner out. Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant in the region described in the subject? (basically hampshire but i can't be arsed driving any further south than winchester).

I've lived in the area for a while but i have inexpensive tastes so good pub food/curries/ask/pizza express etc usually suffices. The only thing i can think of is the Loch Fyne in Farnham but i'd like to push the boat out a bit more if possible..

edited - wrong name, it's slipped me now, anyway, it's on the corner of bridge street and chesil street in Winchester, sunken into the floor, old tudor building - that was always nice!

Ruchetta in Wokingham is excellent.

Not far from Reading is Bray, the only village in the world with two Michelin *** restaurants (I just guessed on the uniqueness, but I can't think of another).

as above, L'ortolan in reading is pretty good, michelin starred but not too stuffy

If you want a sense of occasion both Tylney Hall Hotel, Hook and Pennyhill Park Hotel, Bagshot have great restaurants, beautiful grounds and attentive staff.
