Removing double din headunit - Mk 2.5

I have a bracket for my satnav screen that I want to remove.

To do this, I need to take my head unit out.

Anyone advise the easiest way to do this?

It's a standard 6 cd head unit in a Mk2.5

thanks mate - not replacing, just want to remove the bracket for the factory fit satnav that came with the car - it's a bit intrusive!

A word of warning, if the tabs on the head unit are splayed out, you will need to get right to the back of the console to get it out. A real pain on mine.

Go easy on DIN removal tool!
