Discussion
The Wessex region of the Ferrari Owners Club is organising for the second year running together with The Concorde Jazz Club in Southampton a charity car show, called 'Concorde Classics' on Sunday 5th September 2010.
If you are interested in displaying your car at our show then we are keen to hear from you. It costs nothing to display your car, all we ask is that you are available to be at the show between 9:30am and 4:00pm, as the site is closed to vehicular movements during these times.
The show will be held in the wonderful and peaceful grounds of The Concorde Jazz Club, Stoneham Lane, Eastleigh, Near Southampton in Hampshire.
Last year, being our first year, was a great success with over 120 cars on display from Ferraris to Morris Minors, and over 2000 visitors. We raised nearly £2000, and the money went to a local Children's Cancer Unit. Those displaying their cars had a great day and loved the show ground.
This year the show will be far bigger, better and with many attractions like:

It certainly is and although I won't go into detail, Wave 105 were going to support us with radio adverts but have pulled out due to a misunderstaning between their fund raising manager and us. We still can't believe what happened and I'd love to post the email we got as its beyond belief!!!
Anyway, as a result, Naomi House who are the beneficiaries of all the money raised, have potentially suffered the most so if anyone who has any media contacts and can get the event highlighted for us would be doing us and Naomi House a great favour!
Please remember to register your car with Rob if you want to come along, many thanks!!

Hi Geoff,
Sorry to hear about the misunderstanding with Wave 105. Have you tried contacting another station locally, maybe The Coast? I don't listen to them but might be worth a try.
I have to work that weekend which is a shame as it looks like a great day out and a great cause - I've done a couple of charity bike rides through the forest for Naomi House in the past.
