Can't condone the guys actions, but in Canada seems that you can be convicted for bragging about breaking the law...

According to the police release, several of those who follow the BMW 5 Series forum "lambasted" him and "proved themselves responsible by not encouraging the suspect's behaviour."

Police investigated the case and arrested Rigenco on April 16 and charged him with careless driving.

As part of his sentence, Rigenco also has to complete a remedial driving course and pay a $1,000 fine.

I'm not sure whether you could be convicted of anything driving-related solely on the basis of a forum post but PH posts have been used as supporting evidence.

What about the tts on police camera action last week admitting on camera to doing all sorts on the road. Think there was one knob who confessed to doing 70 in a 30 zone.
