It's your choice of what you want!
If you decide you want the facelift ones, then the general consensus is to go for the OEM Hella ones. The cheaper chinese made inferior ones just aren't as good. If you do want to save and scrimp, then get the 'Depo' made ones as they look 'closest' to the Hella's.
If you decide to stay with pre facelift ones, then I have a pair knocking around in my spare's collection, you can have those for £50 delivered!

Hi Steve,
I got the headlamps off another Touring with many other spares. The car was a daily driver by woman driver and pre engine failure condition was outstanding for a pre facelift E39. I've had them the last 3 months. The headlamps to my knowledge are good, no leaks or condensation that I could see on the day I got them and the other spares. I can clean them up and send if you so wish. Let me know via email/PM and can progress from there.
