Had my first trip to Laggan yesterday, was brilliant. Did both red routes twice and round the orange, what a blast, especially the 2nd time round each. Only got completely drenched the once when the heavens opened, but nothing like a good excuse for tea and cake!

Roll on Glentress next week! thumbup

I was up at Laggan last week for the first time. In my mind, the most fun trail centre I have ever ridden. Gain your altitude quickly and easily on a climb you can have a nice chat on whilst enjoying the views, and then cane it down via a variety of suberb routes. Just brilliant.

Respect to the guys doing the orange on shockwaves complete with spokeys!

the Black is one of my faves, pushes the limits of what you can do on an XC trail bike

I've only ridden Laggan once and that was about 5 years ago - didn't particularly enjoy it then if I'm being honest, but my riding's changed a lot since and I'm certainly going to give it another go. 5 years ago I wouldn't have though of riding a proper DH track but that's somewhat changed...

We stopping off during a hoon on Sunday (got strange looks driving a bike-unfriendly car into a trail centre carpark) to check it out, picked up a trail map, etc. and aiming to ride it during my hols in September.
