4x4 mondeo

am i being blonde but im sure there are 4x4 mondeo's but cant find any for sale. searched PH and autotrader but came up with none.

They do exist but are quite rare.

Yeah they did do them - Si's I believe with the 2.0 engine. Didnt sell well at all and dropped quickly. Only in production or a short period of time. Old shape I believe. Never re-appeared in the UK though. Could be in other markets.

I seem to recall a family friend having a 4x4 Mondeo estate in the mid nineties but I'd guess they are rarer than hens teeth these days.

They did 4 4x4 Mondeo's. The Mk1 was short lived and didn't offer anything in addition to the FWD car. The Mk2 was a little better, added a turbo and power was up to 250BHP-that is the one to find but really rare. The Mk3 had a twin turbo 3L V6, 300 BHP and was great, shame about the £35K price tag though. The last one, the Mk4 "Sport" is a 5 pot turbo nutter bd. 400 BHP but FWD so you need to be built like a brick st house to stop the wheel spinning on its own.




















All that was utter bullst, only the Mk1 ever existed & was st. Why search? Would be like searching through long grass to find a dog turd.

I had a MK1 Mondeo 2.0si 4x4 as a company smoker for a short while, the only reason it was a short while is because I span on a roundabout taking out quite an amount of road furniture before coming to rest in a wire fence.
