Help Writing CV for first job..?

I have been studying ICT at college for the last two years, straight from leaving school.
As a result i havent got any experience in a work environment, I have now left college and am looking for a job.
Basically a full time either retail or warehousing etc kind of job,

I have wrote a CV as best as i can..
Any advice on what to put considering i have never had a job before..
surely everyone must start some where...

I am a sociable and energetic person, I enjoy socialising with my friends be that going to the cinema with them or going to the gym.
I have an interest in computers and technology and enjoy learning how things work.
I also have a great love for cars and motorbikes.

Serious advice?

Go to an agency. Get any work you can to show you're committed or do voluntary/intern work.

I get loads of CV's on a daily basis and so many are uni graduates with no work experience. Qualifications mean nothing without experience to back it up. Even if you do agency work for a few months, it'll make a huge difference, or may even land you your first job.

Yeah i'v applied for an agency already,
will try a few more tomorrow.
i'm still going to give the CV out to Potential employers in the meantime though because i suppose you never know what happens.

Look for an Apprenticeship somewhere relevent? I am in the same boat as you, with a few weekend jobs to back things up. Just applied to be an Appentice IT Techie at a local school. Piss poor money but an extra 5 training course's with a job prospect circa 15k at the end of next year roughly.
Can't argue with that really, it'll get you into the desired field and get you experience. Experience seems to be the most important thing for the big bucks jobs, so get started early mate.

yeah il look into it,
connextions arent upto much are they,
suppose the way things are, the job situations poor everywhere,
bad when you cant even get a chance in the likes of asda or a factory though.

Be warned, many agencies will only work with candidates that already have experience.

Try getting an internship to develop some practical experience to go hand in hand with your education. Your CV will be much more attractive to potential employers.
