Well I guess I can't really complain that the clutch has finally gone after 93k, I wonder if this is some kind of record? Now I know that some people have had their clutches replaced under warranty... guessing that also aint going to happen with 93k on it! Now someone told me once it was slipping real bad and the car almost wouldn't move using our euro LV will damage the clutch so badly that that it will be damaged enough for it to be a warranty repair. Anyone experience this?

I did use the LC and there was a hell of a clunk sound and the following screen came up with yellow cog and engine fault reduced power warnings. Guess I'll find out of I've got a £2.5k bill or a warranty claim in a few days...

93K is brilliant. I always wondered about the clutch life on the SMG M5s. (Although I get the feeling you do a lot of motorway work, but still. Very good).

Do you think it was sensible to post that about the LC thing?

"Do not release the clutch slowly"

Eh?

93k is pretty amazing btw, the clutch went on my car at 27k (replaced under warranty)
