For some reason, thought this was going to be about two six-inchers being more than a twelve-incher. wink
Oh and, yes to being a rip-off.

And yet, you probs went ahead and paid for them anyway....

They charge that because they can!

Cover price - which no doubt the agencies get a discount on
Booking fee
Card handling fee
Silly postage fee
Administration fee
Permission for you to go fee

When working in c.london, I would (if possible) get tickets from the venue so should just pay cover price.

Try direct from band or promoter as well.

Anyway, as a result of silly ticket (all incl) prices, I rarely go to gigs now. When "cheap", I would go to loads of gigs. Now, I have to "really" want to go to pay up. A pity, as cheap gigs got me into many bands that I took a "chance" on.

Tickets for everything are a rip-off these days it seems. My OH wanted to watch the X-Fighters when it was in London the other week - 2 average priced tickets (ie non-restricted view) were £120. A couple of events at the O2 I looked at, tickets were £100+ each for average seats.

it gets dafter when you can pay £2.50 for tickets to be printed and posted, or £2.50 to get them emailed to you and print them yourself.
