Interested in getting 2.2d X Type, particularly one with full cream leather - is this called ivory or what, when it comes with ventilated centre panels?

Is this only fitted to the SE? - When did this option get introduced and just how inexpensively can this model / spec be purchased?

What is best motorway cruise mpg for the manual and overall local driving mpg too?

Are there better sound systems to look out for around this year in differing model specs?

Last time I looked (some time ago) a 2.0 d could be picked up for a min of £3.5k, can a 2.2d be picked up now for c £4k privately / auction?

Anything to watch out for on the 2.2 X?

Also, what is the best value safe ECU re-map and resultant MPG cruise and local?

thanks

I used to be a mod on the X-Type forum, but that shut down unfortunately frown Most people were already on, or have now moved to www.jaguarforum.co.uk. Most of your queries are already answered on there - lots of 'what to look for' guides etc...

I don't have a diesel, but the Roveron tuning boxes (plug and play I think) were regarded highly by everyone and was a recommended first mod for any diesel - 45-50+ mpg were easily seen if I remember correctly. have a look here: http://tuning-diesels.com/

Good luck with the buy!
