Artists, heh, always challenging, gosh, I can remember when your Government wanted to deny members of the Beatles visas to your country.
Always better for Governments, of whatever view, that there is no dissent.

Nah, you and I are both astute and observant enough to know that is generally not the case.Having seen how so many musical artists have moved from the revolution stage to the, content with their riches, stage.
It might be though, that their earlier belief driven stage helped in the general changes in attitudes in the wider society.
