OK who watched it tonight 12th, what really pisses me off is notwithstanding the bloody drivers who are caught using a hand held phone, or texting, or putting on make up, is the one woman who was zapped on a crossing by a driver distracted by (cant realy remember, text or phone), and suffered horrific injuries.
OK the driver was at fault, but anyone who walks over a crossing without looking is also at fault. My OH says "If the green man is flashing, its OK to cross"
BLOODY WRONG, look left and right for cars/cycles who may not have seen the red lights, and are not about to stop.
Please EDUCATE the pedestrians as well as drivers.
We drivers know that if your on the white line at the lights, and they go GREEN, you look around incase some zombie is running the red one the other way, don't we?
